Twiiter and face book were designed to bring people together. Never did they think it would be so crucial in a time of need. We have all seen the tragedies that have taken place recently in Japan. There cell phone coverage is jammed, so people are using these social networking sites to get their word out. The bad news is even internet access has been in and out. This has been such a tragic event but twitter and facebook may have found a new niche. In times of emergencies people are heading to facebook. Millions of people are members and it seems facebook could create a new way for people to become safer and get the word out. When phones do not work and people might get displaced they head to facebook to get in contact with loved ones. These sights have a huge opportunity to expand in the future.

Netflix not adjusting to new market
You would think that Netflix, a company that mail movie rentals to homes, would develop a new branch that sell these dvds. However, when the opportunity arose, they decided not to act. they made this decision because they feel the market is not there. They see that people are not buying and collecting like they once did. I disagree with this decisions. With all the competition in the field, and thing you can do to separate yourself from the pack I would do. Hollywood has already brought it to them and asked if they would sell videos, all they would need to do is add a buy button. People will still buy movies, and since they are online, instead of clicking rent I believe many would choose the option to buy it. Netflix should have gotten a head start on this, but now it looks like they are going to be left behind.
Jobs shocks with IPAD news
We've all drooled over the development of the IPAD. A bigger Iphone, or a smaller Laptop. All I know is this is the future of the computer industry. The on inclusive devise is going to get even better. Steve Jobs, after taking a medical leave of absence, shocked spectators by discussing the highly speculated IPAD 2. The product will include front and rear cameras, and will range between 400-900 dollars. This has been a long awaited realease, and just seeing jobs their has led to much excitement. The Ipad is going to continuously get better, my advice would be to wait untill this device has the same capability as a home computer. Look for updates, the IPAD is going to make a huge impact on the market and is going to be highly anticipated in the coming months.
